[David opens his mouth, shuts it again and gives a shake of his head.]

You don't know me very well if you think that.

Maybe you should grow a beard.

[Belial sighs, refusing to explain anything further.]

Then get to know me~ Ask me what you want. We fooled around just like this last time, didn’t we? But I suppose if you know what gets you off, then there’s no shame in doing it over and over~

Beards aren't generally allowed in my profession.

[Not that that's relevant any more here since he's no longer an official detective, but yet he still maintains the look. Tattoos are also frowned upon but he'd been allowed the ones he's already gotten. He covered them up as much as he could while working.]

I'm afraid I'm not really that good with small talk.

[He admits.]

[He’d make a comment about allowing delinquents into the force as well, but, again, he’s trying to be as nice as possible. Somewhat.]

Nothing wrong with that. It’s an endearing quality, really. Super cute.

[Yeah. He’s being so nice. Belial intertwines his fingers and rests his elbows up on the table.]

[He looks down at his hand and rubs his knuckles self consciously as if trying to rub the tattoos off.]

My superiors made an exception since they weren't too offensive.

[He sighs and looks at Belial.]

[He bats his eyelashes to emphasize his words.]

[That seems to fluster him and he blinks a few times; looks away.]

You’re right though~ I adore it.

[It’s the color of the apocalypse, of course. His voice dips.]

[He still doesn't look up; drinks the rest of his coffee.]

[He leans forward just a touch.]

That didn’t take much at all, did it?

[He stands from his seat with a stretch, more to show off than anything else.]

You must be backed up pretty bad~

[He shrugs, gives a sheepish smile.]

I ran out of coffee.

[He tips his sunglasses back down to cover his eyes before stepping to the side.]

How’s about we get you something that’ll keep you up all night then~?

Why do I get the feeling the innuendoes haven't stopped?

[He gets up, ready to follow Belial's lead. He knows he can't take Belial back to Tim's place, due to a clause in that contract.]

What can I say? I’m a generous man~

[He heads out the cafe and holds the door open behind him before he steps out onto the sidewalk. Nice and cool out here. Less bright too.]

My place isn’t far from here. I could give you the grand tour~

[David nods.]

You’ll love it. I’m quite the interior designer, you know.

[And off he goes, leading the way with a sway in his step.]

I'm sure you have a unique style.

[He can't help but glance that way as Belial walks.]

Wonder what gave that away.

[The walk continues like this for a short while, with Belial tossing more innuendo to keep the conversation spicy and just the right amount of uncomfortable, until finally his townhome comes up on the right. He pushes open the small black gate to ascend the steps and push open the front door. A shame his Dominant won’t be around. He would have liked to see that drama unfold.]

Does your Dominant not allow company over?

[David is observing of all his surroundings, ever mindful of being lured into a trap. That wasn't even a suspicion against Belial. That was just his usual mindset. Always needing to be alert of dangers. It didn't mean he always picked up on said dangers though.]

He's very picky about who knows where he lives.

[David answers about Tim, who didn't want anyone not human to be told his address. As if that kept him safe... The dangers were outside anyway.]

And even if we were to bring somebody over, I'd have to contact him first and it'd be all a big thing. So this is easier.

Sounds like he needs to loosen up too~

[Belial chuckles and without warning or concern he reaches behind to grab David’s wrist so he can tug him pats the foyer. Despite the dark walls and grotesque interior design, the home is neat and well put together. Perhaps not as inviting as other places, but, you know. It’s clearly his style.]

What d’you think the odds are he’ll join us sometime for a little rendezvous~?
